Liquid I.V. Is Giving Hot Chocolate An Electrolyte Boost
Hot chocolate is already one of the great comforts of the colder months, but Liquid I.V. is giving the winter staple an electrolyte boost. Yup, we’re talking about hydrating hot chocolate.
The hydration brand is bringing back its seasonal Hot Chocolate Hydration Multiplier and introducing a new Cozy Caramel Hot Chocolate flavor, giving fans two ways to get their chocolate fix while replenishing electrolytes.
The new Cozy Caramel Hot Chocolate combines real cocoa with notes of salted caramelized sugar, while the returning Hot Chocolate sticks to a more traditional chocolate flavor. Both come in Liquid I.V.’s familiar powdered stick packs, although you’ll be mixing these with warm water instead of the usual cold stuff.
Each stick contains 440 milligrams of combined electrolytes and approximately 7 grams of carbohydrates. So, if you’ve ever wanted to sip hot chocolate while getting some electrolytes in your system, well, somebody went ahead and made that possible.
Both limited-edition flavors are available through Liquid I.V.’s website for $8.98 per six-pack.
