Two Chicago Legends Just Made Pizza-Flavored Popcorn

The Chicago food scene is known for both its popcorn and its pizza, so it only makes sense that Garrett Popcorn and Home Run Inn Pizza are teaming up to launch Chicago Pizza Popcorn.

Launched recently in August, the limited-edition flavor combines Garrett’s custom-grown butterfly and mushroom kernel varieties and Home Run Inn’s ‘Everything But the Pizza’ seasoning to cheesy, tangy flavor from two of Chicago’s legendary gastro destinations.

“It’s something extremely special when two beloved Chicago brands who have also been friends for many years can find the perfect opportunity to collaborate on developing an irresistible recipe,” said Garrett Popcorn VP of Marketing Danelle Sarvas. “Chicago Pizza is joining an all-star lineup of Garrett Ready-To-Eat recipes on shelves. The new recipe is one that only a born-and-bred Chicago brand with deep pizza roots can accomplish, and we’re proud to bring a taste of Chicago to retail stores across the country.”

Garrett Popcorn and Home Run Inn’s commonalities run deeper than its shared Chicago home. Both launched in the late 1940s, they have a shared commitment to made-from-scratch recipes and premium ingredients.

Garrett Popcorn’s Chicago Pizza recipe is now available in select retail stores.
