TIL: You Can Bake a Cake in the Wilderness Using an Orange

This Swedish dude has a YouTube channel called North Survival and shows how to do cool stuff in the wilderness. He says his name in this video, but there’s no way of deciphering it, so for now he’s just “Swedish dude.”

What he does here is cut an orange in half, gut it down to just the outer skin, fill it with cake batter and throw it in a camp fire.

About 15 minutes later, you have yourself a pretty gross-looking orange cake, that according to Swedish dude, tastes pretty good.

Now you can loot cake mix during the zombie apocalypse and bake a cake in the woods.
