TikToker Finds Thousands In His McDonald’s Bag Instead Of Sausage McMuffin

In an unexpected turn of events, a TikToker named Josiah Vargas pulled into his local McDonald’s drive-thru to grab some grub, only to find thousands of dollars inside. He shared the story in a video, with his voice carrying a tone of disappointment mixed with utter disbelief. “Why would they do this? WTF!” he asked the camera.

When you’re hungry, sometimes no amount of money is a substitute for a tasty Sausage McMuffin. “Now I have to return this because I am a good person,” his moral compass directed. Before being a good Samaritan, like any normal human, it crosses his mind to just take the money and run.

“Why would you guys do this to me? You know how bad I want this money? Why put me in this situation?” he asked earnestly.

Filming his walk as he returned the cash, he jokingly asks one of the employees, “You guys laundering money out here?” Right after, you can can hear several employees react to Vargas returning the daily deposit: “OMG look at that!” and “You are a blessing from God!”

Hearing them express thanks almost makes you feel what Vargas might’ve felt in the moment after his good deed. “They were just all hugging me, and thanking me, and crying. I think I get free McDonald’s for a month, I guess,” he shared with a smile.

As a final thank you, the employees stopped him on his way out and gave him $200. “Do good people,” he offered as the moral of this story.

Unsurprisingly, since sharing on TikTok, the video has gained nearly half a million views and thousands of comments. Princess Lester didn’t share the same moral sentiments:

Enjoying his TikTok fame, and for a good reason, Vargas left a comment for his parents to see:
