The Girl Scouts cookie lineup is about to get bigger. Launching sometime in January 2026, Exploremores is a new Rocky Road ice cream-inspired flavor made in the spirit of exploration.

Twelve chocolate sandwich cookies with chocolate marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored crème come in each box. The cookie wafers are encrusted with the youth organization’s trefoil logo, which is a three-leaf symbol that represents the three parts of the Girl Scout Promise.

With Exploremores, the Girl Scouts cookie lineup expands to 11 flavors. It’s joining classics like the brownie-inspired Adventurefuls and iconic Thin Mints, among others. Fingers-crossed they are as delicious as my all-time favorites: Samoas.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program launched in 1917 as a way to finance Girl Scout activities and life-changing programs. Cookies were originally baked by actual Girl Scouts with help from their mothers. The first flavor was sugar cookie, until 1951, when Sandwich, Shortbread, and Chocolate Mints, now known as Thin Mints, were released.
