Taco Tuesday Is Now Free For All To Use In The 50 States

Taco Tuesday is now free for everyone after the trademark registration was given up in all 50 states. The final relinquishment came from Gregory’s Restaurant and Bar in New Jersey after holding the trademark for over 30 years, making Taco Tuesday accessible nationwide.

Taco Bell’s legal moves paved the way, and Taco John’s followed suit. To celebrate, Taco Bell and DoorDash threw a massive $5 million Taco Tab party last month, making it rain tacos. Additionally, they’re chipping in $1 million to support the next generation of taco aficionados.

The legal barriers are gone, so Taco Tuesday is now a free fiesta for all. Taco shops big and small can join the celebration with their unique twist.

And here’s something for New Jersey Taco Bell Rewards Members: on November 21, they can grab a free Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco through the app – no purchase necessary.
