Taco Bell Teases New Churro Chiller Cooler Shakes Across The US

It’s been a busy year for Taco Bell, and the beloved chain shows no signs of slowing down. Earlier, they surprised fans with new items like the Cheesy Street Chalupas, Cheez-It Crunchwrap, and Cantina Chicken Tacos. Now, Taco Bell is keeping the momentum going by teasing and gradually introducing their latest menu addition—four delectable flavored Churro Chiller Cooler Shakes.

The new drinks seem to signal Taco Bell’s move towards expanding their beverage offerings with a barista-style approach. It’s worth noting that select locations also offer Hot and Iced Cinnabon Delights Coffees, which are genuinely delicious and not as sweet as you might expect.

While this news may come as a surprise to most, the Churro Chiller Coolers were first teased at Live Más 2024, Taco Bell’s live ‘keynote style’ conference.

Last year, the Coolers were only available in Mission Viejo, CA and Irvine, CA. Now, the four flavored cafe-style drinks are available beyond California in new markets such as Dallas, TX and Chicago, IL.

The Churro Chiller Cooler Shakes will come in four unique flavors:

  • Sweet Vanilla Churro Chiller Cooler: A thick vanilla shake drizzled with purple vanilla-flavored sauce and topped with cold foam and crunchy cinnamon churro pieces.
  • Mexican Chocolate Churro Chiller Cooler: A frosty chocolate shake with chocolate sauce drizzled inside and topped with cold foam and churro pieces.
  • Wild Strawberry Churro Chiller Cooler: A fruity strawberry shake drizzled with strawberry sauce and topped with cold foam and crunchy cinnamon churro pieces.
  • Dulce De Leche Churro Chiller Cooler: Inspired by the popular Mexican dessert, this shake features a sweet, toffee or butterscotch-like flavor. It combines coffee, dulce de leche flavoring and sauce, and is topped with cold foam and churro pieces.

It’s a slow roll out, but rumor has it that this may lead to a nationwide release. Though it’s worth noting that this will most likely be contingent on how consumers embrace the new Frappuccino-like beverages. For now, those who are Cooler Shake-curious can check their Taco Bell app to see if the new beverages are available at a location nearby.
