Taco Bell Testing Chicken Grillers Breaded with Crushed Tortilla Chips

After the success of their Doritos Locos Tacos that saved the American economy, Taco Bell has apparently decided that chips + meat is a winning combination and are testing a few new chip-inspired products to gauge customer excitement. First up: the beta version of a chicken wrap called the “Crispy Chicken Griller” that hit test markets in Ohio this month.

The Crispy Chicken Griller is basically Taco Bell’s answer to the McDonald’s McWrap and boasts marinated chicken strips breaded with crushed tortilla chips and available in three different flavors:  Avocado Ranch, Spicy Ranch, or Mango BBQ. The new sandwich costs $1.49 and (if they score well within the Ohio test market) could be introduced to Taco Bell locations across the nation soon.
