Starbucks Japan Debuts Vibrant Purple Halloween Frappuccino

Besides black and orange, purple is also a popular Halloween color that captures the spirit of spooky perfectly. Starbucks Japan is getting into the Halloween vibes right with a vibrant new Purple Frappuccino that looks to be as tasty as it is eye-catching.

According to SoraNews24, the new Purple Frappuccino flavor is murasaki imo, a type of purple sweet potato. Starbucks Japan describes the flashy new drink as a combination of purple potato powder and purple potato vanilla sauce. Making its debut alongside the Purple Frappuccino is a Melty Raspberry in Halloween Cake, which oozes a bright red raspberry sauce inside.

Both Starbucks Japan Halloween menu items are now available through October 31.
