The collaboration you probably didn’t see coming has arrived.

SPAM and Hello Kitty have joined forces for a surprisingly lore-heavy partnership that blends cartoon cuteness with one of the world’s most iconic canned meats. Leading the release is a limited-edition collectible SPAM can that features a happily fed Hello Kitty enjoying musubi. (If you’re planning to keep it, maybe give it a rinse first.)

The collaboration also includes an interactive microsite called “Tour de Sizzle,” which follows a food-loving Hello Kitty as she travels the globe exploring regional SPAM creations. Along the way, fans can unlock prizes, limited-edition merchandise, and other digital experiences through June 23.
