Slot Machine Cake

Photorealistic cakes are nice, but there’s a certain charm to whimsical cartoonish cakes. Case in point? This Slot Machine Cake, made by our friend Linda Hawa (DJ DiZzZy) of Anaheim Hills for a local celebrity’s 50th birthday. Fondant galore, 7-7-7 read out on the machine and chocolate coins overflowing.

A testament to whoever “Sam” may be, and a further nod to creative at-home cake making. Eat on, and here’s to another 50 years of delicious cakes, good gambles and #foodbeasting.
