Salt & Straw Ice Cream Has Thanksgiving Dinner Flavors

Salt & Straw Friendsgiving Series

The prototypical Thanksgiving meal boasts many comforting flavors and must-have dishes that everyone celebrating looks forward to. But would you be ready for ice cream that came in savory flavors that highlight Thanksgiving dinner?

Salt & Straw, the world’s largest small batch ice cream company, is bringing Thanksgiving dinner to fans in ice cream form thanks to their new “Friendsgiving Series.”

The Friendsgiving Series shakes up the matrix and reimagines Thanksgiving favorites into ice cream treats and includes the following one of a kind flavors:

  • Parker House Rolls w/ Salted Buttercream: These buttery rolls are glazed with fresh-churned buttercream and topped with flaky sea salt. As the spongy rolls soak it in, it’s gently churned into salted sweet cream.
  • Caramelized Turkey & Cranberry Sauce: Roasted turkey bacon from Diestel Farms is tucked into a savory, buttery brittle with thyme and freshly ground cubeb pepper. It’s joined by a housemade cranberry sauce.
  • Candied Walnut Cheesecake: This is layers of rich cheesecake, that have warm notes of caramel and molasses. A graham cracker crumble with walnut butter from Spread the Love plays on those caramelized notes.
  • Sweet Potato Pie w/ Double Baked Almond Streusel: Roasted sweet potatoes are added in golden brown bits of almond croissant streusel that are twice-baked.
  • Pumpkin & Gingersnap Pie (v): Ultra-creamy coconut, sugared crust, then molasses-spiked gingersnap.

The Friendsgiving Series is available online for $65.00 and ships nationwide. You can also find the collection at Salt & Straw’s 25 retail locations throughout California, Oregon, Washington, and Florida.
