Red Velvet Pancakes Make a Valentine’s Day Comeback at IHOP

First introduced back in summer 2012 for a limited time, IHOP’s Red Velvet Pancakes are back, now ’til April 14, 2013 at participating restaurants.

“IHOP is known for bringing guests ‘Everything you love about breakfast’,” stated Natalia Franco, Senior Vice President, Marketing, International House of Pancakes, LLC. “So we’re happy to help make this Valentine’s Day special by bringing back one of our most requested items for pancake lovers and lovers everywhere to enjoy. It’s the perfect way to start your Valentine’s Day—and a great way to celebrate all day long!”

Although I don’t recommend taking your boo to IHOP tonight, these red velvet stacks of fluff do look quite delicious. The combination of rich chocolate and a generous amount of cream cheese icing sounds more like an excuse to eat dessert for breakfast, which we totally support — whether Valentine’s Day or not.
