Pizzeria Debuts Pumpkin Spice Pizza And We Don’t Know How To Feel

pumpkin spice pizza

Autumn is here, which means that everyone is coming out with their pumpkin spice-flavored creations. One of the more interesting ones we’re seeing this year comes from Villa Italian Kitchen. They’re debuting a pumpkin spice pizza that is leaving us scratching our heads.

The new pizza will feature pumpkin pie filling as a sauce, mozzarella cheese, and more dollops of the filling on top, according to a press release. Slices will go for $4.09 each, and are available starting tomorrow while supplies last.

Villa’s new addition into the pumpkin spice world has definitely generated some conversations on social media already. For the most part, people are equally shocked and appalled at the thought of pumpkin spice pizza.

To be fair, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen pumpkin spice go on pizza. Legendary YouTube channel EpicMealTime made a Pumpkin Spice Pizza Cake a few years ago that, apart from the bazillion calories on it, didn’t seem too bad. Additionally, pumpkin with cheese is a combination that has been done before. Gordon Ramsay has an amazing pumpkin soup recipe that calls for Parmesan cheese, for example. However, we’re not so sure if the sweet pie filling and aromatic pumpkin spice fit together with mozzarella.

That being said, we’re curious to try a slice or two of this pizza just to see what it tastes like.
