Pizza Hut Stuffs Money in the Crust as Part of a Questionable New Campaign

Pizza Hut took this past weekend to do a little marketing work to promote their new Ultimate Stuffed Crust Pizza. Toying with the branding that their new pizza stuffs the crust with several different meats, a small Pizza Hut crew led by a rather attractive young host as they fool a group of fans into thinking they’re part of a documentary, only to be gifted $1,000.

The 2:14 long video spot captures the process as the Pizza Hut crew bakes the $1,000 in cash right into the Ultimate Stuffed Crust Pizza orders. The video is filled with “That’s What She Said” moments that are never capitalized on and a certain level of hygiene that seems to be overlooked. Stuffing crust with money? I feel like my mom would have a field day if she saw this.

The campaign pushes fans to include @pizzahut and #stuffmycrustwith via their tweets for a chance to win a free pizza. More rules can be read up at social.pizzahut.com. Until next time, here’s the video spot:
