NFL Star Cam Newton Unveils His Plans For Food Truck Fame

Even though he lost in the Super Bowl last February, Carolina Panther’s quarterback Cam Newton is ready to keep on truckin’ and will be trying out something new this season.

No, it’s not a new version of, “The Dab”, it’s a food truck, called “Smokn’ Aces” that will debut at Bank of America Stadium, during Carolina’s season opener against the San Francisco 49ers Sept. 18.

While Cam actually won’t be the man operating the grill, the NFL’s 2016 Most Valuable Offensive Player’s plans were recently unveiled by California-based artist, MadSteez, aka Mark Paul Derens, who had the privilege of creating the mural work on the Smokn Aces truck.

According to SB Nation, the term “Smokn’ Aces” is a play off Newton’s nickname, “AceBoogie.” Although the food truck hasn’t even served up it’s first dish to paying customers, there’s already speculation about what the menu will offer.

“The menu, naturally, will include fish since Newton is a pescatarian. It also will have chicken,” according to ESPN.

Newton also said the truck will be there on “Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with all of the proceeds from the first week going toward a program for at-risk individuals in Charlotte.”

We can’t wait to see what’s on the Smokn’ Aces menu.
