Mother's Cookies Shuts Down

In some sad news, Mother’s Cookies has shut down after 92 years of operation in Oakland, CA. The iconic pink-and-white cookies are notorious for bringing back comforting memories of childhood. When filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Mother’s Cookies indicated that they could no longer handle the rising costs of raw materials and fuel. This just plain out sucks. If you’re a fan of those rainbow sprinkles and that pink and white frosting, head over to the grocery and stash a couple packages while you still can. Where’s a bailout plan when you need it?
