McDonald’s Japan Unveils Fried-Egg ‘Tsukimi’ Burgers

As reported by SoraNews24, McDonald’s Japan has unveiled a new menu that celebrates Tsukimi (“Moon Viewing”) events during the autumn season in Japan. Tsukimi is the term used whenever a fried egg is added to a dish, which also happens to represent a full moon.

This Tsukimi menu will feature a fried egg flourish with a Tsukimi Burger, Tsukimi Muffin for breakfast, the new Rich Melty Tsukimi that boasts a cheese sauce and fluffy cheese buns, a limited edition Yuzu Shichimi (“Seven Spice”) Mayo Seasoning, a Tsukimi Pie filled with red bean and mochi sticky rice, a Tsukimi McFlurry, and Tsukimi McShake.

The McDonald’s Tsukimi menu items will be available from September 8 until mid-October, except for the McFlurry, which will be available from September 15 until mid-October.
