Massive PEEPTrauma, Rabbit Roadkill & Other Easter-Themed ‘Psycho Donuts’

‘Tis the season to be creative with Marshmallow PEEPS, and California-based Psycho Donuts donut shop is determined to be in the running for most creative Easter-themed menu items. Available all week long, starting april 22nd to the 24th, at both of their locations, are a host of new demented Easter-fused donuts, highlighted by their Massive PEEPTrauma donut that serves up a peculiarly premature marshmallow peeping perching atop an oozing jelly-filled donut.

Also on the menu for the week is a reformulated Monte Cristo sandwich in donut form dubbed the Monte Christ-D’oh!. The donut-sandwich hybrid is filled with fresh ham and swiss cheese and topped with powdered sugar:

One of the more humorous pieces comes in the form of the Hot Chick donut, and like many stereotypical attributes of a “Hot Chick,” the donut comes complete with a spicy bunny tattoo on its mid-section (#trampstamp) and is filled with custard (#toomuch?):

Lastly, the most Psycho of the shop’s entire Easter lineup is their Rabbit Roadkill donut. The pastry is highlighted by jelly filling oozing from a damaged ear, an abnormally bruised eye and some deliciously deformed frosting forming the sad bunny’s face.
