The Makers Of Fireball Whiskey Now Have A Tequila-Based Mango Cocktail

The makers of Fireball Whisky are at it again… this time with tequila!

The Sazerac Company (which also makes Buffalo Trace) has introduced Mango Shotta. Inspired by the traditional Mexican mangonada recipe, the bottled cocktail combines tequila with the flavor of mango and the bite of jalapeño for a shot experience with a lower alcohol content (26% ABV) than the average shot.

The brand recommends these three-steps for the best experience. Refrigerate Mango Shotta until chilled, grab a shot glass, and line the edge with lime and Tajin.

Mango Shotta launched last year in six markets (Illinois, Texas, Florida, Arizona, Ohio, and South Carolina) but now is available nationwide for $14.99 per bottle and $.99 per shooter.
