Man Loses Weight Eating Nothing But Costco Hot Dogs For A Week

To be honest, I didn’t expect the Costco Hot Dog Diet to be on my 2024 bingo card but, alas, here we are. Cleveland native Joey Kinsley (SirYacht on Instagram) managed to save money and drop a few pounds eating nothing but Costco hot dogs for seven days.

Was it worth it? According to Sir Yacht himself: “It absofuckinglutely was.”

The original question he set out to answer: “Is paying $1.50 for a glizzy and a drink for a week worth it?” He ended up eating 29 Costco hot dog combo meals, resulting in a final price of $43.50, which according to his statistics on millennial spending habits, is about 1/4 of what millennials spend on average on food per week.

His final results:

  • He balled on a budget.
  • He lost weight.
  • He had the culinary experience of a lifetime.

You can see his entire journey in the clip above and, while we don’t condone following ridiculous diets such as these, we can absolutely take up the bandwidth to congratulate this man on a delicious job well done.
