Long Beach Crawfish Festival 2011 — Recap

The city of Long Beach has been putting on a pretty bumpin’ Crawfish Festival for the past 18 years, and for 2011, we decided to see what all the hype was about. Boy did it live up to it! Good food, good music, and good people — everyone was there to share their love of food and get an experience. Hosted in Long Beach, California’s Rainbow Lagoon area, we took to the park and got our messy eats on.

Here’s a photo recap of the goods from our trip — everything from crawfish, shrimp + catfish po boy from the Ragin Cajun truck, catfish and fries, andouille sausage and all the fixings, buttered up corn on the cob with chili powder and Sriracha, and some spicy Jambalaya. Get down:
