KFC: Shutters Two Most Historic Locations for World Hunger

In an effort to spotlight the issue of World Hunger, Kentucky Fried Chicken has announced that it will be closing two of its most historic locations and converting them into “World Hunger Relief Kitchens”. The locations include Colonel Sanders’ first restaurant in Corbin, KY., and the original KFC franchise in Salt Lake City. The converted restaurants will be serving free meals to in-need residents from local shelters. The Corbin restaurant has operated since 1940, and the Salt Lake City has been in business since 1952. Heart warming, generous, and cynically-speaking, a great marketing move!
