KFC Drive Thru Customer Gets a Bag of Cash In Place of His Order

Looks like honesty is still fashionable. A few weeks ago, a 21-year-old man from Overland Park made his way through a KFC drive thru, only to peer in his bag upon getting home to notice a bank deposit bag full of cash instead of his order. Upon the man’s findings, he gave a call to local police informing them of the situation.

As an officer and the man were making their way back to KFC, the restaurant had finally clued in to their blunder, also notifying the PD that they had inadvertently given their bank deposit to a customer. According to reports, the deposit was placed into a bag by one employee, and accidentally picked up by another worker and out through the drive thru window to a customer.

I’m sure this would have been a much better story had the 21-year-old gone back to the same KFC, bought thousands worth of product and threw a huge party for his entourage. Instead, he practiced honesty. Lessons being taught today at FOODBEAST(Via KMBC)
