Rapper Dumbfoundead Spits A Verse About Noodles We Can All Relate To

When it comes to rapping, Los Angeles-based artist Dumbfoundead is on levels that many can only dream of achieving. Known for his acute lyrical prowess and mastery of freestyling witty and creative lyrics off the cuff and impromptu, Dumbfoundead has built an impressive resume and dedicated following off of this unique gift of gab. The fact that his battle with Conceited is the most watched rap battle in all of YouTube speaks volumes for the type of talent and mass appeal Dumbfoundead has—all pun intended.

Born Jonathan Park, the Koreatown hip-hop vet honed his wordsmith status within the battle rap circuit. However, for Park, his success as Dumbfoundead was by no means an overnight phenomenon. It’s taken a number of shitty jobs, while still moonlighting as a battle rapper to pursue his dreams, that have helped him refine his talents into the up and coming entertainer that he is today.

And with his top notch rap skills, Park decided to take on a unique challenge to creatively weave together a series of vivid lines and wax poetic about his music and showbiz ambitions using a favorite snack of many as the basis topic: Cup Noodles®. In the latest episode of the Foodbeast series, “Just Warmin’ Up,” food media notables like Elie Ayrouth, Josh Elkin, and Richard “Reach” Guinto take a crack at rapping with Dumbfoundead themselves. Intriguing tastebuds and putting you on to the latest and greatest luscious bites—these dudes got that covered, no problem. Trying to keep up with a world class emcee like Dumbfoundead? Could be some fish out of water type scenario here.

How would you think they’d do, though? Watch as this motley crew of creatives tackle the first of its kind Cup Noodles® cypher and warm up to the flourishing career of Dumbfoundead.
