Instacart Teams Up With Uber Eats For Restaurant Deliveries

If you don’t already have Instacart downloaded on your phone, now would be the time to do so. Uber Eats and Instacart announced its partnership to allow Instacart shoppers nationwide to use the Instacart app to order from hundreds of thousands of restaurants, powered by Uber Eats.

What does this all mean? The deal will allow Instacart users to place Uber Eats orders without leaving the app. You can now order groceries for the week through Instacart, handled by Instacart, plus, get dinner from restaurants via Uber Eats and its couriers for the night. The two apps are almost trying to make our lives easier, and compete with DoorDash.

You can now find restaurants on Instacart with ease. Just head to the new “Restaurants” tab in the app. From there, you can pick from nearby restaurants, check out their menus, order your food, and stalk your food delivery as it heads your way.

Of course you’re wondering and how much does this cost you? Well, lucky for Instacart+ members, they’ll be able to enjoy added perks at no extra charge, including free delivery on grocery and restaurant orders over $35.

But for the rest of us, regular Instacart customers will be charged Uber Eats delivery fees, which sometimes you know, can make or break your decision to order a meal.
