Hot Pockets Recalled!

In a personal disapointment, considering the past week half of my late night consumption was a Hot/Lean Pockets product….Nestle Prepared Foods Company has recalled roughly 215,660 pounds of their frozen pizza sandwiches, in the form of the Pepperoni Pizza interpretation. It seems that certain small pieces of red plastic and other small material might place their consumers in serious risk. Though four separate complaints have been filed, no report of injury or death have been reported. The Associated Press tells us that the recall “involves 54-ounce, 12-pack cartons of Hot Pockets Pepperoni Pizza brand stuffed sandwiches. Printed on the side of each carton is ‘8157544614D,’ ‘EST 7721A,’ and ‘BEST BEFORE JAN2010.’ They were produced on June 5 and distributed to retail establishments nationwide. For more information, consumers should call 800-350-5016.”
