Hot Events: Pursuing Your Passion in the Culinary Industry

Not one to keep a good event secret, some friends of ours are putting on a rather interesting culinary event for any interested Southern California residents who have an interest in the Culinary Industry. Pursuing Your Passion: The Culinary Industry is a banquet style type event on May 19th at 6 pm held at the University of California, Irvine that will feature guest speakers such as Jeromy Chan from Sushilicious, Mark Augarten from Claim Jumper, Freya Estreller and Natasha Case of the Coolhaus Truck, Joono Choi of Sugarbird and Harry Kho of Harry’s Deli.  All of these guests will be covering topics of childhood dreams, educational background, job experience, entrepreneurship and all of the obstacles they faced in the pursuit of their dreams. Seating is limited and is on a first come, first-served basis. Entry is $5 dollars and for more information make sure to head over to their Facebook event page. Food, refreshments and giveaways are promised…so you know we’ll be there!
