Did Toucan Sam Just Declare War On Cocoa Puffs?

Is Toucan Sam calling out Sonny the Cuckoo Bird? It certainly looks like it. WK Kellogg has announced a new Froot Loops spinoff called “Cocoa Loops.” Yea, real clever name there guys. The new cereal was formulated with real cocoa, six essential vitamins and minerals, and doesn’t contain any artificial colors.  

Doug VanDeVelde, the chief growth officer at WK Kellogg, shared the announcement in a press release, saying, “Toucan Sam has always been a chocolate fanatic.” Sure he has. Or, is this a strategic move by Sam to prove once and for all, which cereal bird is king? One thing’s for sure, I’m seated and ready for a chocolatey battle royale. 

Balls in your court General Mills! The new Cocoa Loops will begin hitting shelves in January.
