Denny's: Rockstar Menu

In the rare initiative to promote a latenight menu, Denny’s has allowed, once again, 4 select bands to be a part of 4 new menu additions to Denny’s latenight menu. I can’t lie, I’m very excited about these menu items. Let’s start with the oh-so-sexy Katy Perry and her addition, the “The Hot N Cold Cherry Chocolate Cappuccino”, consisting of: vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, French vanilla cappuccino and whipped cream with a cherry on top. The dudes from Boys Like Girls were inspired by their single, “The Great Escape” to create “The Great Eggsteak”! This interesting sandwich relooks the classic roast beef sandwich by adding peppers, onions, pepper jack cheese, scrambled egg and spicy mayonnaise all sitting between two sourdough bread buns, served with a side of hash browns. The rock band from my youth, Hoobastank, combined two of their favorite foods for this awesome post-concert meal, the “Hooburrito,” a hybrid BBQ chicken pizza and burrito. The burrito is filled to the brim with crispy chicken strips, pepper jack cheese and onion crispers all wrapped in a warm tortilla, served beside a bed of tortilla chips, cheese sauce and ranch. The final addition comes from the rock group Taking Back Sunday as they present their “Taking Back Sunday’s Melty Grilled Chicken and Sausage Quesadilla,” consisting of chicken breast, sausage, American cheese, grilled peppers and onions, pico de gallo and a cilantro-lime ranch sauce, all piled into a large flour tortilla. Rock out with your cock out after your late-night partying with this hefty new menu, eat on!
