Del Taco: Opens first of many Texas locations

The Del Taco brand restaurant is coming to Texas, and it’s starting at their newly opened location in Denton: 1703 S. State Loop 288, to be exact. A second location is planned for McKinney, northeast of Dallas.  CEO Paul Murphy believes the Del Taco brand is a great fit for the Dallas/Ft. Worth market, exclaiming, “We’re excited to bring our great tasting food and strong value options to Texas”.

Reports from the OC Register reported that the grand opening of the Denton location this past Wednesday was a massive success, creating lines that wrapped around the building and stayed like that for several hours. Del Taco currently operates or franchises more than 515 restaurants in 16 states, how do you think the Texas audience will respond to Del Taco‘s menu?
