Dairy Queen Now Serving Orange Julius Beverages

They say too much of a good thing can be bad for you, but I’m not hearing a downside to this. The American Dairy Queen Association has announced that they will be serving Orange Julius Premium Fresh Fruit Smoothies and Julius Originals at all their Dairy Queen locations in the United States and Canada.

The drinks will be available by November at the 4,000 or so DQ locations in North America. According to Barry Westrum,  executive vice president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation, the smoothies will be the ideal choice for customers looking for a quick and healthy treat. Westrum tells QSR that the Dairy Queen brand means giving customers quality blended fruit drinks.

What’s this mean for us? Well for one, we no longer have to go into malls to get our Orange Julius fix. No longer will we have to deal with parking, crowds, and getting sucked into the bottomless pit known as the food court for two hours (okay, maybe that last one is just me) when all we want is a tasty smoothie.
