Cup Noodles Gets Weird With Their New S’mores-Flavored Ramen

Nissin has just announced a new Campfire S’mores Cup Noodles  will be available for a limited time exclusively at Walmart. Yes, you read that correctly. S’mores-flavored ramen noodles.

Cup Noodles describes their new flavor as the “unmistakable blend of decadent chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker flavors with a smokey note for a truly unique s’mores experience.” Which, of course, is just the description of a s’more.

‘Truly unique experience’, I do not doubt. But as someone who loves both ramen and s’mores, this actually sounds terrible. This is the company’s first dessert-flavored ramen and, I suspect, the world’s first as well.

One has to wonder what the creative process is like over at Cup Noodles. Do you have to be under the age of five to work there? Because “s’mores ramen” sounds eerily similar to a dish my four-year-old niece would cook for me while playing chef. Did they test the new flavor on their uncle too? Didn’t they notice him pouring it down the sink while telling them it was “sooo good”?

This unicorn-centaur of flavor is actually just one of three new “innovative” flavors offered by the instant ramen company including Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese. As Joe Biden would say, “Come on, man!”

What’s next? Cookie Dough Spaghetti? Pepperoni Ice Cream? Swiss Cheese Cold Brew?

Would you try S’more flavored ramen? What are the most disgusting flavor combinations you can think of?
