Comedian Jo Koy Launches His Own Limited Edition Rice

“That’s the key to an Asian household — RICE.” Superstar Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy dropped knowledge during his classic bit about the ancient Asian secret for making perfect rice from his Netflix stand up special, ‘Comin’ In Hot’. It’s big facts that rice rules everything around Asian families, which is why it makes hilarious sense that Jo Koy decided to launch his own brand of rice with Asian grocery delivery service, Weee!.

Jo Koy’s ‘Rice is Rice’, named after another classic comedic bit from one of his Netflix comedy specials, ‘Live From Seattle’, is now available in limited quantities on the Weee! website or mobile app. The variety of rice offered in the bag is Thai Hom Mali, also known as Thai Jasmine rice, and earned the title of World’s Best Rice in 2020 and 2021 — so you know you’re getting that legit product.

Jo Koy and Weee! have partnered to celebrate humor and food by delivering the most essential Filipino staple right to your home. Act quickly, though, as Jo Koy’s ‘Rice is Rice’ is a limited edition drop.
