Carl’s Jr. Gets Salted Caramel Shakes and Strawberry Biscuits ‘Made from Scratch’

Carl’s Jr. released their new Made From Scratch Strawberry Biscuits and Salted Caramel Shakes this week. The new biscuits on deck claim to “made-from-scratch,” a bold move for any fast food joint.

The Strawberry Biscuit is made with a fresh buttermilk biscuit drizzled with white icing and topped with sliced strawberries drenched in strawberry syrup. Apparently, “fresh biscuits” in this case mean a combination of biscuit mix and buttermilk baked daily. Alright.

The Sea Salt & Caramel Shake, another new item, packs hand-scooped vanilla ice cream blended with caramel syrup. It’s topped with sea salt toffee crumbles and whipped cream. You’re going to want a bacon burger or two to balance all that sweet.

The biscuit is available at $0.99 and $1.79 for two, while the shake will run you $2.99 at participating locations.
