Capri Sun Unveils ‘Moon Punch’ Glow-In-The-Dark Pouches

The “Blood Moon,” a total lunar eclipse that occurs when the Earth is fully positioned between the Sun and the Moon, will last for six hours and three minutes. The peak of the event, known as totality, will take place at 2:26 a.m. ET on March 14. In celebration of this celestial phenomenon, Capri Sun is launching limited-edition glow-in-the-dark pouches—introducing Total Lunar Eclipse Moon Punch.

For the first time, Capri Sun is turning the moon itself into a scannable code through Snapchat, inviting fans for a chance to unlock an exclusive first taste of Moon Punch. From March 13 to March 14, fans can open their cameras through Snapchat, snap the moon and follow the lunar link for a chance to receive a free carton of Moon Punch and a flashlight to help light up the night sky.

For all my Scholastic Solars, an eclipse happens when the Moon and Earth align with the Sun, casting Earth’s shadow on the Moon. The red color during totality? It’s sunlight filtering through Earth’s atmosphere, like a thousand sunsets. Cool, right?

The collectible pouches are not only a fun way to engage with fans, but also underscore Capri Sun’s commitment to its pouch format, keeping the iconic offering at the forefront for fans of all ages. Available through September—grab Moon Punch while you can! It’s a limited-time offering at Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, and other select retailers.
