This Angry Old Lady Went Apes*it On A Girl Selling Candy At Target [WATCH]

As a former grocery store employee, I’ve seen my fair share of pissed off old ladies. Hell, I’ve even seen them pissed off for this specific reason, as I often saw shoppers with the “Get off my lawn” attitude when it came to solicitors standing outside of the store.

This video in particular showed a woman yelling at a young girl who seemed to be selling candy outside of a Rowland Heights Target, without permission.

While the legalities of the situation probably favored the angry woman, her treatment of the kid struck a nerve with other shoppers.

The video was shot by a woman named Andy Lizarraga and was posted to Facebook. The footage shows the older lady arguing with not just the kid, but with a guy named Jay Lopez, according to CBSLA.

“You should be ashamed of yourself,” Lopez is shown saying in the video.

Lopez told CBS that the young girl was “crying hysterically” and his way of defending her was buying out all $80-worth of her candy and handing it out shoppers, while the older lady watched.

At one point you can hear the woman say, “They do this all around the country and you should see how THEY live.” Sounds like she might be talking about some kind of nationwide underground network of illegal candy selling, which could be a real thing, but still, chill bro.

While the older woman was probably in the right, no one likes to see angry people take out their frustration on kids. A simple talk with the store manager (which is still kind of a dick move) would have been enough, and this video would have never existed.
