This Bacon-Wrapped Hot Dog Is Smothered in Pork Chile Verde And Queso Fresco

You can’t think of bacon without also thinking of Foodbeast. 95% of our bodies are made up of the stuff (the other 5% is cereal).

Needless to say, Bacon Day—celebrated daily at FBHQ but recognized internationally just once a year—is a huge deal around here. That’s why we were so stoked when the infamous Dragon Dogs truck of Anaheim announced they would be adding a custom bacon-wrapped hot dog onto their menu—named after US.

A Dragonian FOODBEAST Dog?!?! HOLY SCHNIKES, this is the best thing that’s happened to Foodbeast since we discovered breadless bread! This thing truly is Foodbeast-worthy, too: it’s a bacon-wrapped Sabrett hot dog topped with mayonnaise, grilled onions, pork chile verde, lettuce, queso fresco, cilantro, and optional grilled jalapeno—in that order.

Dragon Dogs is located conveniently near Angels Stadium in Anaheim, not too far from our homebase in Santa Ana, so you KNOW we’l be getting our doggone dog on, on the regs. A BIIIIIIIG meaty THANK YOU to Matt and Lori Miyashiro, the wonderful people behind the glory that is the Dragon Dogs truck.

The “Foodbeast Dog” will be available to the public beginning tomorrow, on International Bacon Day, for $9.
