Foodbeast Just Gave The Bean & Cheese Burrito Its Boldest Transformation Yet

Leave it to our resident bean & cheese whisperer, Elie Ayrouth, to turn a comfort food classic into what could be the next great fair food. Teaming up with the legendary deep-fry king Chicken Charlie, Elie dreamed up what might be the wildest, most personal Foodbeast collab yet: The Bean & Cheese Cone.

This marks Day 156 of Elie’s ongoing bean & cheese journey, a quest that’s racked up tens of millions of views across Foodbeast’s platforms and helped fuel a new wave of appreciation for the humble B&C. The idea to collab has been in the works ever since Chicken Charlie’s Pickles & Dr Pepper moment blew up in 2024 and became a surprise top seller. That’s when conversations turned from “what if?” to “what’s next?”

Now, that answer’s here in the form of a one of a kind cone.

While I’ve yet to try, the vision is clear: stretch the boundaries of fair food without losing the plot of paying homage to the bean & cheese burrito.

So picture this: slow cooked beans, melty shredded cheese, hot sauce, and luscious queso, all packed into a waffle cone. It’s giving fair food, but also tipping a cap to Elie’s endless bean & cheese quest. A fitting tribute to every foil-wrapped wonder that he’s unwrapped, hoping it would change his life.

Let’s break it down:

  • A crispy, handheld waffle cone
  • Lush, refried beans tucked inside
  • A crucial shredded cheese blend
  • Velvety queso blanketed in between the layers
  • Finished with a healthy dousing of Foodbeast Chill Sauce, available here for a limited time only

You can find The Bean & Cheese Cone at the Orange County Fair this summer, only at Chicken Charlie’s stands. Opening day is July 18, so mark your calendars. Go ahead and imagine yourself eating it with one hand while texting your group chat just how great it is.
