Liquid Death Unleashes Outrageous Hot Fudge Sundae-Flavored Sparkling Water

The viral brand everyone, including your dad, knows—Liquid Death—has teamed up with Van Leeuwen, the artisanal ice cream your mom probably has stashed in the freezer. And this collaboration? It’s as wild as you’d expect.

Introducing Hot Fudge Sundae Sparkling Water, a limited-edition premium flavor available in 8-pack cases of 19.2oz cans. Launched on August 13, this quirky beverage is available online from Liquid Death and Amazon, with select Van Leeuwen scoop shops also offering single cans for sale.

Liquid Death is the poster child for pushing boundaries in the beverage and marketing industry. Known for its satirical branding, the notorious water brand has engaged consumers in the most disruptive and impactful ways, making this collaboration less of a surprise to Liquid Death fans.

Positioned as lightly sweetened with agave nectar for a more brutal flavor, vegan, packaged in infinitely recyclable aluminum tallboys (because plastic bottles aren’t), and featuring limited edition art on the bottom of each case, it’s no surprise that Liquid Death diehards have ransacked the stores.

In less than a week, the bizarre beverage has completely sold out across all e-commerce platforms. What the fudge? I mean, who ever thought we’d live in a world where chuggable, 20-calorie hot fudge sundae sparkling waters would be in demand? Not me.
