University Of Arkansas Testing A DiGiorno Pizza Kiosk On Campus

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Nestlé, the global food and beverage titan, has joined forces with a student innovation team from the University of Arkansas to introduce a pioneering DiGiorno hot pizza kiosk on campus. Spearheaded by the McMillon Innovation Studio, renowned for fostering entrepreneurial spirit and creativity, this venture marks the first-ever presence of the DiGiorno brand on a college campus.

The innovative kiosk, strategically located outside Fulbright Dining Hall, offers students convenient access to freshly baked pizzas around the clock. With a choice between classic pepperoni and cheese varieties served in 10-inch thin-crust pies, the kiosk promises a satisfying culinary experience at an affordable price point of approximately $11 per pizza. Boasting a rapid cooking time of just seven minutes, the pizzas are delivered piping hot in a convenient take-out box via a user-friendly delivery chute, complete with a complimentary pizza cutter.

Led by Braeden Calvert, the student team from the McMillon Innovation Studio is set to provide invaluable data analytics throughout the three-month pilot project, aimed at tailoring the kiosk’s offerings to meet the dynamic preferences of the student community. Collaborating closely with Chartwells, the campus dining services provider, the team looks to optimize the kiosk’s operations for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
