The glow up of the ho-hum hot dog into the now esteemed glizzy is something to make note of. Look through your social media feeds nowadays and you’ll see dozens of creative and delicious glizzy recipes that elevate it from its humble reputation. Make way for another because we’re about to give a glizzy some Foodbeast razzle dazzle. Behold, The Glizz Bake.

Sure, it may look like a classic chicken bake, but squint a little harder and what’s revealed is a hot dog finding a warm, cozy, cheesy, forever home. Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup is the tie that binds this happy home by allowing mozzarella and parmesan cheeses and bacon bits to set the tasty foundation for this Glizz Bake.

That wild look in your eye tells me you’re committed to the vision. So you’ll be happy to know that this funhouse glizzy iteration can now be unlocked in your own kitchen using the recipe below:

Glizz Bake

Tools

  • Pastry Brush
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Cheese Grater

Ingredients

  • 1 can of Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1-2 Hot Dogs
  • 4 Strips Bacon
  • Packaged Pizza Dough
  • ¾ cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Cook 4 slices of bacon until crispy then chop finely.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together 1 can of Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup, ½ cup of grated mozzarella, ½ cup parmesan cheese, and the chopped bacon.
  4. Open the packaged pizza dough and roll it out into a large rectangle. Cut in half down the center of the long side –  you can get 2 bakes out of 1 dough
  5. Spread a layer of the soup and cheese mixture along one end of the dough and place a hot dog across the center of the spread. If you have any extra length that is un-dogged feel free to add another dog into the mix.
  6. Roll the pizza dough around the filling and press the edges sealed. Continue to roll the dough into a tight cylinder until all excess dough is wrapped up in the log.
  7. Place the log on a parchment paper lined baking sheet
  8. Make an egg wash by beating 1 egg with a splash of water and brush the egg wash across the top of the log.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese across the top and then bake until golden brown, just about 15 minutes
