Coca-Cola Debuts New Space-Inspired Flavor

The excitement of the dynamic unknown that is space and the exploration of it is the driving energy for Coca-Cola’s newest limited-edition flavor, Starlight.

Starlight represents the first of many intended ideas, flavors and concepts from Coca-Cola Creations, a new initiative of the brand to foster creation and innovation through collaborative and cultural impact. The flavor itself draws on the unexplored frontier of space, where its wonder and mystery fuel the branding, look, and flavor of Starlight.

Consumers can take note of the dazzling reddish hue of the beverage itself, with a taste that evokes a cooling sensation to represent the cold journey through space. As someone who isn’t much of a soda drinker, I’d say this was a pleasant surprise, as Starlight still represents the iconic cola flavor, yet drops hints of berry, with a mellow, not too sweet finish.

Coca-Cola’s new Starlight will be available for a limited time starting February 21.
