Restaurant Claims To Be ‘Haunted’ After Chairs Tip Over On Their Own [WATCH]

A restaurant is claiming to be haunted after video footage captured chairs moving and falling over completely on their own.

The Ventura, CA location of Cronies, a local bar and grill chain, posted two different clips of security film to their Facebook page after some odd events transpired in their restaurant. The older video, shown above, features a chair at the bar tipping, then toppling over on its own in the middle of the night.

Another post shows footage of the Cronies restaurant during the day time. A chair tips backward, then quickly moves back to an upright position on its own, alarming nearby customers who go and check it for themselves.

In an interview with CBS Los Angeles, Cronies co-owner Dave Foldes described the events as “pretty creepy,” while the general manager of the Ventura location simply claimed his restaurant to be “haunted.”

Nothing like this has ever happened at Cronies before to anyone’s knowledge, and the place has been in operation for 27 years. Foldes believes that if there are indeed spirits lurking around, they would be “good spirits.” Foldes specifically referred to two of their original customers, named Ralph and Don, that passed away 25 years ago but would frequent Cronies before then.

“Whenever something funny happens, we always blame it on them,” Foldes said. He claims that there’s no jokes or pranks being pulled and that the footage is 100 percent legit.

We’ll have to wait for the poltergeist fanatics to make their determinations to see if that’s really the case.
