Watch Two Subway Rats Fight Over A Churro In An Epic Chase

People seem to be fascinated over New York City rats and their particular diets. From the infamous pizza rat who carried an entire slice of pizza home, to this spaghetti-eating rat with a Ratatouille-like cuteness, we love seeing them eat things for some odd reason.

This rat interaction was one for the ages, though, as it felt like a fight scene in a Mexican film.

The two rats were fighting over a whole churro, as a street musician played dramatic Spanish-style guitar riffs in the background, almost as if it was tailor made for this cartoon-like scene.

The two rats went back and forth, pulling the churro like a tiny tug-o-war, until the eventual victor ran off with the whole piece, looking back as if to say, “Better luck next time, compadre,” and presumably went home with a sugary treat for its family.

The footage comes via Rashedas Bridal Beauty, who took a break from its usual makeup videos in order to bless us all with this epic New York subway clash. The caption reads, “Rashedas Bridal Beauty had a funny encounter on the way back from work today.”

As far a chase scenes go, this one’s gotta be right up there with Jean Claude Van Damme’s chase scene in Bloodsport, and the Aladdin chase scene at the marketplace.
