Dominique Ansel Is Bringing His Pastries To Los Angeles

Even if you’ve never heard of Pastry Chef Dominique Ansel, you’ve probably seen his pastries at some point throughout social media.

While his restaurants have been sprinkled in New York, London and Tokyo, Californians will soon see those beautiful Cronuts, or 3D churros in their backyard.

Ansel announced that in late 2017, he’d be opening a full-service restaurant (his first) in Los Angeles, according to the L.A. Times. The restaurant will feature brunch, dinner, cocktails, and of course, pastries.

That’s pretty much all he gave us, though, not hinting where he’d open up shop, nor the restaurant’s potential name.

One thing’s for sure, although it’ll be a sit-down, the place has to have dessert, so the pastry chefs favorites have to be part of the menu.

If he doesn’t bring his Cronuts to L.A., we’ll riot.
