If Bugs Bunny Really Stuck His Carrot In A Gun Barrel — WATCH

Before Spongebob and Kim Possible, or whatever cartoons kids are watching these days, there were the nonsensical shenanigans of Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes.

Perhaps one of the most famous running gags featured in the cartoon came between the witty Bugs Bunny and the gun-toting Elmer Fudd.

Elmer Fudd would always disrupt Bugs’ sleeping, or cooking sessions by trying to bust a cap right into his head.

While it never really seemed like Fudd’s rifle caused serious damage aside from twisting your face, or leaving your head really dusty, it seemed like a really bothersome activity for bugs.

Regardless, Bugs didn’t want to suffer that fate and would often shove his trademarked carrot right down Fudd’s gun barrel. The befuddled Fudd would pull the trigger anyway, then the gun would backfire and explode right in his face.

Fast forward to your adulthood.

There’s no way Bugs’ method of survival would work in the real world, right?

There’s only one way to know for sure and Demolition Ranch put the carrot method to the test with a real shotgun:

For better, or worse, we now know for sure that Bugs would probably be a dead duck.. er.. rabbit, if he tried this in real life.

Thankfully he was a cartoon character and was never really put in harms way unless he was drawn to do so.

Shout out to Daffy Duck for being a real “G” and taking all those bullets for his homie Bugs.
