There’s A Really Obvious Reason For Why You Should Be Blotting Your Greasy Pizza

Call them crazy, but the people blotting the oil off their pizzas are saving their bodies a pound or two every year.

A study carried out by Labdoor Magazine discovered that dabbing the excess oil off pizza saves people thousands of calories. They published an infographic detailing their findings based on slices of Domino’s pizza.

As it turns out, the average American eats 23 pounds of pizza each year. That totals to 28,188 calories for a regular slice of pizza versus 21,532.5 calories for a blotted pizza.

This saves nearly two pounds off a person’s waistline each year. Now that would be a lot counting all the years of life you have left to fill it with pizza.
