Here’s Why TGI Friday’s Absolutely Refused To Serve A Group Of Officers

It’s one thing to have a zero tolerance gun policy, but to include law enfocement seems a bit absurd.

A group of Tennessee parole officers were not able to enjoy TGI Friday’s endless apps as they were kicked out for being armed, according to WSMV.

President of the Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police, Johnny Crumby told WSMV:

“The officers are out there to protect the public. If somebody comes in while someone is on their lunch break, they are not off-duty. They are still an officer. They will respond to whatever occurs there.”

It looks like some posts might have been taken down from the Franklin TGI Friday’s Facebook page, but going off screen shots re-posted by users, it looks like the incident went as follows:

Then commenters started getting real ‘Murican on their page and started a boycott of the restaurant.

Friday’s said it was all a big misunderstanding, but still pissed off the whole town. Now they’re probably going to have to start giving away free drinks and appetizers for a while.
