Sonic’s New Slushes Feature Crushed Jolly Ranchers And Pop Rocks-Like Candy

Sonic has now added two candy options to its Slushes menu. The popular drive-in chain is letting customers add popping candy (kind of like Pop Rocks) and Jolly Ranchers to their Slushes.

For a limited time, Sonic patrons can get their hands on the new Kevin Durant-inspired Slushes. According to BusinessWire, NBA star Kevin Durant is now the chain’s “Brand Ambassador.” If that means more items with crushed candy inside, then you won’t hear any complaints from us.

When Sonic’s Slushes first arrived on the menu, last year, only Nerds and rainbow candies were available.

Guests can choose from 28 different flavor combinations. Slushes can also be purchased for half off during “Happy Hour” at participating locations.
